“Who’s on Third?” Community Concert

On Sunday Nov. 17th, 3 – 4:30 PM, renowned organist Gail Archer, from New York City, will continue her international tour in Oregon.  She will be performing for the “Who’s on Third?” Community Concert series at Woodburn United Methodist Church.  The program will consist of works by Ukranian and Russian composers.  Archer is a concert organist, recording artist, choral conductor and lecturer who draws attention to composer anniversaries or musical themes with her annual recital series including Max Reger, The Muse’s Voice, An American Idyll, Liszt, Bach, Mendelssohn and Messiaen. The concert will be held at 700 N. Cascade. Dr.  The usual freewill offering will be taken to cover concert expenses.  There will be a mid-concert Intermission with refreshments provided by Country Meadows and Cascade Park.  All “Who’s on Third?” concerts are open to the public.

October “Who’s on Third?” Concert Information”

On Sunday October 20th, the “Who’s on Third?” community concert series will feature local singer “Rebecca Hardiman”, and her “Karen Carpenter Tribute Band”.  They will take us on a walk down “memory lane”, performing the most beloved hits of “The Carpenters”.  Vocalist Rebecca Hardiman, along with her band mates, strive to bring the same warm rich sound and easily identifiable style that Karen Carpenter was known for. 

The concert will be held Sunday October 20th – 3:00 – 4:30 PM.  It will be held at the Woodburn United Methodist Church, 700 N. Cascade Dr.  Our usual freewill offering will be taken to cover concert expenses.  There will be a mid-concert Intermission with refreshments provided by Country Meadows and Cascade Park.  All “Who’s on Third?” concerts are open to the public.

September “Who’s on Third?” Concert Information

Sunday September 15th, the “Who’s on Third?” community concert series will feature the local professional Western singer-songwriter Joni Harms and The Harms Way Band. Joni has earned numerous Academy of Western Music awards.  The most recent is “Album of the Year” for 2018 for her album “Lucky 13”.  She will be sharing songs from that album along with many other favorites. The concert will be held Sunday September 15th – 3:00 – 4:30 PM.  It will be held at the Woodburn United Methodist Church, 700 N. Cascade Dr.  Our usual freewill offering will be taken to cover concert expenses.  There will also be a mid-concert intermission with refreshments provided by Country Meadows and Cascade Park.  All “Who’s on Third?” concerts are open to the public.
